Walailak University – December 27, 2024
The Stallions Company Limited extends its gratitude to Walailak University for giving us the opportunity to be part of the university’s Green Campus Initiative through the purchase of 30 electric motorbikes. This collaboration reflects the university’s commitment to fostering a sustainable environment and contributes to our shared environmental goals.
This partnership also aligns with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 13: Climate Action and SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities. We are proud to work with Walailak University in paving the way toward cleaner, safer, and more sustainable communities.
Driving the Vision Forward
Since the launch of Walailak University’s electric transportation policy in May 2024, Stallions has played a role in transforming campus travel. This policy requires all new students to use electric vehicles to reduce carbon emissions and noise pollution within the university.
Comprehensive Solutions for Sustainable Mobility
To support Walailak University’s objectives, Stallions partnered with WEDA EV TECH and launched WEDA SHOWROOM BY STALLIONS within the university campus, offering a full range of services:
- Flexible rental options – Starting from just 10 THB for 15-minute sessions, with hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly plans available.
- Student-focused ownership programs – Making it easier for students to own electric motorbikes.
- On-campus maintenance and repair services – Ensuring convenience and peace of mind.
Additionally, HERO MOTION (a subsidiary of Stallions) has developed robust charging infrastructure on campus, with nine charging stations and over 100 charging sockets to ensure smooth and hassle-free electric motorbike usage.
Results That Inspire
In just six months, this collaboration has delivered impressive results:
- Over 700,000 kilometers traveled using Stallions’ electric motorbikes.
- More than 104,720 kilograms of CO₂ emissions were reduced (equivalent to 104.72 metric tons).
- Positive environmental impact equivalent to 4,760 trees absorbing CO₂ over six months.
